James S. Lineweaver, CFP®, AIF® is the Founder and CEO of Lineweaver Financial Group, a leading independent financial advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. Since 1993, Jim and his team have provided comprehensive financial strategies for clients in or near retirement, integrating investment, tax, legal, and insurance services. By bringing independent professionals together under one roof, LFG ensures a holistic, objective approach to meeting the complex financial needs of private and corporate clients.
Jim has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, Money, Crain’s Cleveland Business, and on FOX, WEWS-TV, and WKNR-Radio 850. His weekly TV segment, The Financial QuarterbackSM educates viewers on complex financial topics. Jim is a Million Dollar Round Table Life Member, and for 15 years was honored as Top of the Table.
Jim received a degree in finance from Cleveland State University, then continued his education at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Business. He is a licensed Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee, designations that attest to the integrity of his financial advice and his focused knowledge of fiduciary standards as applied to the Lineweaver investment management process.
Jim and Lineweaver Financial Group contribute annually to philanthropic causes in the local area. In recent years they have supported the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital Radiothon, the Cleveland Foodbank, Benedictine Academy, the Ben Curtis Foundation, and many other charitable organizations across Cleveland. He has also served as Vice-Chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Cleveland and the board’s finance committee.
He and his wife, Kathy, live in Broadview Heights, and have three adult children together.
