Ryan Sowards is the Director of Deferred Compensation and Financial Advisor at Lineweaver Financial Group. Ryan brings nearly 18 years of personal advising experience to bear as leader of the Deferred Compensation Department. He specializes in all aspects of deferred comp, including DROP, PLOP, various Ohio pension funds, healthcare planning, and overall, coordinated financial planning. 


Ryan is committed to helping his clients achieve their financial goals by understanding their needs, offering thorough and thoughtful investment advice, and providing a high level of personal service and communication. He provides a wide range of financial services, including retirement planning, strategic asset allocation and portfolio management, insurance, long-term care protection and hosts investment seminars and lectures for businesses and civic groups.

 

Ryan began his career in 2004 as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. For seventeen years Ryan’s background afforded him the opportunity to develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, Ryan has dedicated his career to developing the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.


As a Financial Advisor, he is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses develop financial and investment strategies that line up with their needs, goals, and risk tolerance. His mission is to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and portfolio management strategies – delivered with the highest level of personal and professional integrity.


Ryan holds a B.A. degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, and has Series 7, 63, 66, and life and health insurance licenses. Outside the office, he is involved in his community and volunteers for several local non-profit organizations. He enjoys golf, reading, yoga, competitive softball, live music, hiking, and the great outdoors. He and his wife Lindsay reside in Shaker Heights, along with their son John Allan and daughter Vivian.
